Lisa Tye
I am an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist offering a calm and compassionate space for adults and young people. I support those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma, neurodiversity, and major life transitions.
My work is integrative and grounded in a person-centred, trauma-informed approach. Rather than asking “what is wrong with you?”, I ask “what has happened to you?”. I recognise how life experiences shape emotional wellbeing. I hold a Master’s degree in Art Psychotherapy and am based in Worcester. I work with adults and children of all ages. I have particular interests in neurodiversity, cancer recovery, and trauma.

I believe creative processes can help untangle difficult feelings. Art-making can support clarity, self-understanding, and renewed hope. My role is to listen without judgement and to help people make sense of their thoughts and emotions through art. I offer a gentle, steady presence so challenging experiences can be explored safely and at a manageable pace.
Before training as an Art Psychotherapist, I worked for many years in charities and local authority services, supporting individuals and communities. This experience brings depth, compassion, and strong clinical understanding to my practice. I am passionate about supporting people from all backgrounds and identities.
